By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use BookCertification.
BookCertification is a prestige certification platform for book knowledge. The Service enables users to search for published books, complete AI-generated certification assessments, and earn digital certificates upon passing. Certificates attest to a user's demonstrated knowledge of a particular book's content.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Certification exams are generated using artificial intelligence and consist of 20 questions per book. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass and earn a certificate. Certificates are digital credentials that reflect the user's demonstrated knowledge of a specific book's content at the time of assessment. Assessments are free to take. Certificates require credits, which can be purchased through the application.
Book Certification verifies successful completion of an independent knowledge assessment based on a specific book. This certificate does not constitute an academic qualification, professional license, or author endorsement.
BookCertification certificates attest solely to a user's demonstrated knowledge of the content of a specific book, as measured by an AI-generated assessment at a point in time. They do not constitute, and must not be represented as, any form of professional qualification, vocational credential, academic degree, or officially recognised certification under any national or international framework.
BookCertification.com does not assess, endorse, or certify any user's professional skills, competencies, aptitude, or suitability for any role, occupation, or industry. The concepts and themes identified on a certificate reflect themes present in the book itself, not an evaluation of the user's professional capabilities.
BookCertification certificates are not recognised by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any employer, educational institution, government body, or professional association. BookCertification.com makes no representation that any certificate will be accepted or valued by any third party. Users must not misrepresent their BookCertification credentials as anything other than a record of book knowledge.
Certificate credits are available for purchase within the application. All prices are listed in euros. Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account. Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of BookCertification.com in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Purchased credits do not expire.
The Service, including its design, branding, software, AI-generated content, and certificate templates, is the intellectual property of BookCertification.com. You may share your earned certificates but may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any other part of the Service without prior written consent. Book metadata and cover images are sourced from public APIs and remain the property of their respective owners.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to manipulate, cheat, or exploit the assessment system; (c) misrepresent your identity, your certificates, or the nature of your credentials to any third party; (d) reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service; (e) use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without authorization.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookCertification.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. BookCertification.com does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated assessment questions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Earned certificates will remain verifiable but your access to the platform will be revoked.
BookCertification.com reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the application. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Hellenic Republic (Greece), without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
